If you’re looking for a super-elementary, cost and time-effective way to completely transform your look, you should start with getting your eyebrows tinted, as this would do the trick with just a single stroke. And, compared with other procedures or treatments, which involve a lot of cost and pain, henna eyebrow tinting definitely comes out as a winner for being the cheapest and also the safest way for coloring eyebrows.
In this article, we are bringing you the complete guide for eyebrow henna tint.
How Does Henna Brow Tinting Work?
To give you a better idea on how henna tints work, we decided to do some real experimenting with a henna tint ourselves. So, in a home eyebrow tinting process, we used a henna tint that contains the goodness of natural ingredients such as aloe Vera, jojoba and organic henna, and mixed it up with some water. We, then, outlined our brows with care using eyebrow stencils, which should be perfectly applied to avoid any stains outside the eyebrows. Then, we customized the color according to the eyebrow color we wanted. You can also custom-blend a mixture of colors as per your choice, or if you have chosen a single color you can go with it too. Then, we allowed the color to dry before gently removing it.
How to Remove Henna Tint?
Removing henna tint depends upon various factors, for instance if you are trying to cover your eyebrow greys, then choosing a darker shade would be the best option, and so the color removal process would also increase. On the other hand, if you have a naturally light eyebrow color, then choosing a lighter option would be better, which would also decrease the henna tint removal time. The exact time would, however, depend upon what exactly you are aiming to achieve with your eyebrows. But usually, eyebrow henna tinting process can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes.
Some people personally prefer to apply henna tint in stages, opting to do the entire brow in one step, and then going back to fill in the area, usually the tails and the front, where they want the tint to be darker with two or three more applications.
Once the henna tint application process is complete, the henna tint is removed with wet cotton pads. You can also use Mina Stain Remover, which is well known for getting henna stains easily off.
BONUS TIP: Just a quick reminder to always check your skin type
20 years ago, it was rare to have eyebrows coloured or people using different chemicals for their skincare. Nowadays, many people use different solutions in the salon and at home. So be sure to take each time a patch test to prevent any unwanted skin reactions.
Tinting eyebrows can make a superb difference to your appearance. And, if done correctly and perfectly, a henna tint would also end up lasting for up to 2 to 3 weeks turning your daily beauty regimen into a breeze.
